Team, two-factor authentication & billing
This guide covers the workspace admin tasks that live under Settings → Workspace: inviting and managing your team, protecting your own login with two-factor authentication, and managing your plan and payment method. Team and Billing are admin-only; anyone can manage their own 2FA.
Invite and manage your team#
Go to Settings → Workspace → Team. This page lists everyone in your workspace with their role, 2FA status, and when they were added. (Only admins can see it.)
Invite someone: Click + Invite member, enter their Email address, pick a Role, and click Send invite. They’ll show an INVITED pill until they accept and set a password. There are two roles:
- Admin — full access including settings, API keys, and user management.
- Member — create and manage broadcasts, contacts, and segments. Cannot modify settings or manage users.
(There’s no separate “owner” or “superadmin” role you can assign — Admin is the top workspace role.)
Manage an existing member (the row actions appear for everyone except yourself):
- Edit role — switch someone between Admin and Member.
- Reset pw — sends a password-reset email (shown once they’ve accepted their invite).
- Resend invite — re-sends the invitation to someone who hasn’t accepted yet.
- Delete — permanently removes the person from this workspace. You’ll be asked to confirm; this can’t be undone.
- The pencil icon next to a name edits that person’s email address.
The header shows a running count (e.g. “2 admins · 3 members”), and each row’s 2FA column shows Enabled or Off so you can see who has 2FA turned on.
Turn on two-factor authentication#
Two-factor authentication (2FA) lives on your own Profile page, not the Team page: Settings → Workspace → Profile, under Two-factor authentication. RadarSend uses a time-based one-time password (TOTP) from an authenticator app.
To enable it:
- Click Enable 2FA. RadarSend generates a secret key.
- Enter that key into your authenticator app (any standard TOTP app works — for example Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy). Use the Copy button to copy the key exactly.
- Type the current 6-digit code from your app and click Verify.
- RadarSend shows your recovery codes. Save these somewhere safe — each one works once if you ever lose access to your authenticator app. Click I’ve saved these codes to finish.
Your status flips to an Enabled pill. At your next sign-in, after your password you’ll be asked to Enter your two-factor authentication code.
To turn it off: click Disable on the Profile page, then enter your password and a current 2FA code to confirm.
Requiring 2FA for everyone: an admin can enforce it workspace-wide at Settings → Workspace → Account under Security → Enforce 2FA. When it’s on, users who haven’t set up 2FA can’t sign in. You must have your own 2FA turned on before you can enable this.
Manage billing#
Go to Settings → Workspace → Billing (admin-only). Billing runs on Stripe. The page has four cards:
- Current plan — your plan name, billing interval, and a status pill (for example active, trialing, past due). If you’re on a trial it shows the days left and when your plan starts; otherwise it shows your renewal date. Once you have a paid subscription, Manage billing & invoices opens the Stripe customer portal, where you update your payment method and download invoices.
- Usage this period — progress bars for Contacts, Team members (seats), and Primary domains against your plan’s limits.
- Choose a plan / Change plan — toggle Monthly or Annual pricing, then pick a plan. Each card shows price, contact limit, seats, and domains. A first-time subscriber checks out in-app (a Subscribe panel opens in a window). If you already have a subscription, Switch sends you to the Stripe portal to change plans (this avoids being charged twice).
- Billing contact — the email address where invoices and payment reminders are sent. It can be someone outside your team (like an accountant) and is separate from the account owner. Enter an address and click Save.
Common issues#
- I don’t see Team or Billing. Both are admin-only. If they’re missing from your settings rail, you’re a Member — ask an admin to change your role or make the change for you.
- A teammate never got their invite. Open the Team page and use Resend invite on their row (available while they still show the INVITED pill).
- I lost my authenticator app. Use one of the recovery codes you saved when you enabled 2FA. Each code works once. If you’re out of codes, ask another admin to remove and re-invite you, or reset your access.
- “Enforce 2FA” won’t turn on. You have to enable 2FA on your own Profile first — RadarSend blocks enforcing it workspace-wide until you do, so you don’t lock yourself out.
- Can’t change plans in-app. If you already subscribe, plan changes happen in the Stripe customer portal (via Switch or Manage billing & invoices), not the in-app checkout.
Good to know#
- Your Profile settings (display name, password, personal timezone, 2FA) affect only you. Account settings affect the whole workspace and are separate.
- API keys bypass 2FA — rotate them on a schedule and revoke unused ones (Settings → Developer → API keys).
- The billing contact is just an email for invoices — it doesn’t grant that person any access to RadarSend.
- Seats on your usage bar count your team members, so inviting people can affect your plan’s seat limit.
