A broadcast being set up as an A/B test: subject, body and sender chosen as the things to test, two variants splitting the audience, and the email editor below with each variant's own sender and subject.

Bots and security scanners stay out of the decision.

What to test

Test more than the subject line.

Compare subject lines, complete emails, sender addresses, or sending providers. Change one part or several. Run two variants or as many as six.

Every version stays inside the same broadcast, so you can compare the differences without building and managing a separate campaign for each one.

A broadcast set up as an A/B test: the subject, body and sender chosen as the things to test, two variants with the audience split evenly between them, and the first variant's own sender and subject line below.
Bot-filtered results

Don't let machines distort the result.

Security scanners click links before a person ever sees the email. If those clicks count, the version with more scanner traffic can look like the better email.

RadarSend compares the apparent results and the filtered results separately. When bot filtering changes which version performed better, the report says so plainly.

A/B test results for two versions of a broadcast: a message that bot filtering changed the winner, then each version's subject line with its open, click and bounce rates beside the numbers before machine activity was removed.

The goal isn't a higher number. It's choosing the version that worked better with people.

One broadcast

Keep the whole test in one place.

The variants, audience split, and results all stay with the broadcast. There's no pile of nearly identical campaigns to name, schedule, and compare afterward.
